what is the best weight for a 2003 supra 22ssv. right now I have to factor ballast setup which i believe is two 250lbs in the rear and one 600 in the mid ship. this fine but I think I might want allttle more kick. would just increasing the rear to two 500lbs work for great wake or in the supra do you need more noise weight that rear. any suggestions, or experience would help full thanks

In recent year Supras you typically you put a Fly High GG 1180 lb Front sack up front and see if you can find another stock front sac and run those in the back.

Agree thats what I did with my 2008 22ssv 1180 up front and put the 600 in the port rear for surfin. still have the stock 400 on the star side.

you think adding 2 500s to the rear and leaving the 600 in the mid ship would throw a good wake for wake boarding?

Depends upon the boat and how it is balanced. In general more rear weight makes the wake steeper and more front weight makes the wake more rampy. If you have the playpen bow up front I would think about upgrading the front with the big GG Front Sac before I update the rear unless you are upgrading to wake surf.

That's definitely too much weight in the back of the boat. Supra hull designs LOVE weight further forward, so whereas we typically recommend a 50/50 weight distribution, for Supras and Moombas we suggest a 60 front/40 rear split. That will make the wake much better shaped, it will hold up at slower speeds without crumbling, and give you a lot more options for line length.

Personally, I were weighting a 22SSV for wakeboarding the first upgrade I would make would be the Gravity Games Center Sac. After seeing what that did I would experiment with more weight in the rear lockers.

If you're going to use the boat for surfing the upgrade path may be different, but regardless, weight further forward has a huge impact on wake shape and size in these boats.
