Hi,
I have a 1987 Sun Sport, and the rear seat bench frame is completely rotted out. Does anyone know a good resource in the PA/OH area for construction of a new one?
Thanks.

I have an 86 Sunsport and had to rebuild mine last year. I just did the best I could to use the old rotted wood as a template! See my thread from last year.

Thanks!
Your photos gave me some good ideas. I love this boat so much I want to hang on to it as long as possible. At 680 hours I think I've got about 4 more summers before I have to address the engine. Compression is perfect and It doesn't burn oil.

If well cared for your engine has a life expectancy of 2000 hours if its not giving you trouble you shouldn't have to anything more than maintenance.

Same thing I've heard is 2000 hours if maintained properly. How many hours do you put on in a season? I put on 50 last summer.

I didn't realise they had that many hours of good life. 50 hours a summer is on the highest end for me.
Thanks
