Black smoke

Hi,
I have a 2000 Legacy with the 330hp mpi i have a problem when i take off if you hit the gas it will sputter and blow a puff of black smoke then take off but if you role on the gas it goes fine. I have had it in the shop several times and here’s what has been done

New plugs, wire, cap and rotor
New coil
8 new injectors
Temp sensor
Throttle position sensor
Fuel pressures are fine
New knock sensor
Thermostat


They say everything checks out fine but its not like it use to be

Looks like you need a different shop. Did they test anything or just use the SWAG
[Scientific Wild Ass Guess] method of testing? Black smoke is usually a rich fuel condition
I'm not that familiar with boat fuel injection but its based on auto systems. Is your fuel economy bad? If it were a car I would look at the temp sensor and MAP sensor, high fuel pressure and blown fuel regulator.
