Haha that is so awesome that you caught that. I thought I was the only one that yelled 'wake boat' all the time while driving.

Yeah, kinda confused or conflicted eh?

There's something else, too. Hint (Look at the back of the truck and the front of the boat)

jay, really close. CA stickers on the boat and Oklahoma plate on the truck. CA also has plates on all trailers. So, this rig was from OK, with a Supra sticker on the back window, pulling a Nautique from CA.

dshaff...you are correct sir! That IS my truck pulling a new boat. It isn't mine, however. I just towed it back for a guy on another forum I'm on.

Pirata...LOL! For sure. The whole bed of our truck is full of stuff for our trip which naturally drops it a little lower than the front. Then add the tongue weight of the boat and it brought it down quite a bit.

holy crap you drove that far for a buddy on another forum? That is dedication bro. Big postive karma for you. Looks like an awesome boat. Know anything about the tower? It reminds me of the yucky original xstar tower, all tall with cross bars and for some reason the front mounts are lower on the hull than the rear. I can find a pic if you want. Nothing wrong with the tower, just looks funny imho. Is that a DD or V? I have been looking hard at the 95 super sport nauti v

I was in CA anyway, I just had to meet up with the guy who test drove the boat, hook it up and tow it back. It felt good to help the guy out...plus I didn't do it totally for free.

I think the tower is that same old style "rad-a-cage" Mastercraft used.

It's a DD. It's a 1999 Air Nautique. It's really nice. Has a heater, shower, PP, a bunch of stereo updates, etc. The guy was getting out of boating so all kinds of stuff was included with the boat like vests, rope, anchor, etc, etc.

LOL maple. Eh, I was driving out and back anyway, so I figured why not. It put a little money in the boat rebuild fund too. :)

dshaff, I think it was under $20k, but I'm not 100% sure.
