i want to put gt 40 heads on my 351w to wake it up a little bit this summer. i read a thread on here a long time ago about getting the right marking's on them. has anyone done this. any help would awesome... thanks!!!

I put the GT-40P heads on my boat a few years ago. These heads actually flow better than the original GT-40 heads. You can find a set in a junk yard or on E-Bay. The bolt holes will have to be reamed to 1/2 inch from 7/16. I have a set of roller rockers on mine, but they are not needed. I also have the adjustable rocker arm kit from Crane Cams so that I can adjust the valve train, recommended if you change cams. There is NO manifold or spark plug problems when using these heads.
