Those are great pics and after seeing them I think we will make the trip to Tygart this year. I live in Parkersburg so it's not too far!

SUmmersville Lake, West Virginia. The water is beautiful here - a lot of scuba divers come here.

Ohio River, near Parkersburg, West Virginia. This is where we are most of the time - the ramp is about 10 minutes from my house. :)

The last pic is of a stretch of water between Blennerhassett Island (port side) and West Virginia (starboard side) on the Ohio River just south of Parkersburg. We spend a lot of time here.

Love it here..........Been going there since I can remember, learned to slalom behind a '65 Chris Craft, now I have my own Supra, seems new enough to me!!!!!!

My familys lake place (cant really call it a cabin lol) on Spirit Lake which is near much larger Mille Lacs Lake in central MN, about 2 hours north of where we normally live/boat in the Minneapolis Metro area.

Boat is weighted for surfing. We weight her a bit differently now. :)

Jet - it is called an "AirSling" --- look it up at www.airsling.com

Here is a link to a video from the site mentioned showing it in action.
(the guy riding is a good friend of mine and KO1 on this site)

http://airsling.com/media/sj_airsling.wmv

It is a device made for taking some of the "oomph" out of landing to help
fatigue on shoulders and elbows. Not cheap - but lets you ride a lot more!

What part of the tower, just the airsling? It's currently "down" like in the signature picture,
and with the winter cover on - hard to put up ... lemme see what I can find.

Take a look at the photo attached ... it shows some friends on the back of the
boat at Lake Powell - and a pretty good shot of the tower ...

Sharpsburg launch on Alleghany. Used to do E. Carson St but don't really like the cars parked on both sides. Makes it narrow. Didn't mind with the Chaparral, but since they rebuilt the launch at Sharpsburg, it is closer to home with less road traffic. Do miss watching the girls walk down the sidewalk at night as you wait at traffic lights though.

Still the best place in the country for wakeboarding, miles of open channel and just enough secret places so you can ride butter on the busiest holiday of the summer.

Michael,

That's a great first shot. My favorite kind of water - flat with just a hint of wind ripple for bite. Not to hijack & turn this into a ballast post, but that's a nice looking surfwake for you & the miss's. How are you weighted for that?

Jamestown Marina where I launch on Lake Cumberland, I took it from a helicopter ride.

Heading out on Cumberland with a boat full.

The shore line looks strange because the lake is down over 40' for dam repairs.

I like Cumberland quite a bit, alot of crap in the lake though. A few of my friends have houseboats out at Beaver Creek and we launch out of there. Last time we were up there the lake was really low like that. We went out to eat at some buffet on the lake one night and on the ride back it was really eerie with the high shore all around us and the stars/moon barely peeking over.

In the spring there does tend to be some junk floating but it goes away by summer, bent my prop Memorial Day last year.

We ride in the first cove on the right in Otter Creek which is next to Beaver. We're there almost every weekend, stop by sometime.

Is that near the ski course? We're always out there in a red & black Malibu VLX or a white & red X-Star. I haven't been out there since I bought my Supra so I may have it up there this Spring.

Thanks...oddly enough, my next pass after this picture I overrotated a toeside trick and blasted that exact same buoy with my board, head, leg, or some combination thereof. That buoy and I have a special connection now... lol

Do you usually go to Taylorsville? I'm from Louisville also but haven't been to that lake in a few years.

Our local spot, Lake Tapps. 40min south of Seattle.
At first I was there for moral support

Now she does it on her own and can cut back and forth. It's a skimboard I attached wakeboard fins to and ran a ski rope through the nose.

The latest spot I really like, Desert Aire, WA. Its on a dammed section of the Columbia River in eastern Washington. The wind can blow, but when it's not it gets smooth.
