you want one that's fairly close but it doesn't have to be exact.

this one would fit. you need to determine if you had a 3 position or 4 position switch in there already though. this is the 3 position link...

Skidim has them part # 1222 $17.95 for the three term and 111205 $22.99 for the four term. My 89 came with a 3 term but I replaced it with a 4 term. The only difference is the
4th term will supply power to accessories without powering the ignition. I use the 4th term to run the stereo while anchored.

Get a 3 term you can buy it at any auto parts store for less than $10.00.

I forgot my keys at home once and it would of cost me $10-$15 dollars of gas to go back and get them so i stopped at oriley's auto parts and found a 3-prong for a old 70's mustang..$7 plus 5 mins to put it in the dash. Cheaper than driving back home. lol

I replaced mine on my old I/O for less than $10 at a Tractor Supply, if you have one of those around.

bring the old one with you if you do an auto store or something like that.

a buddy went to the local hardware store and came back with one that was too big. there wasn't enough room behind the dash for the one he bought. so he hooked it up and left it dangling by the wires.

I recommend buying a 4 position switch, same size as 3 but you have the abilitly for accy position to run the stereo. The brass switches last longer, I also recommend using the switch with screw terminals rather than push on terminals. I feel they are better, less future problems. Al
