are you currently surfing and what board(s) do you want?

I'm surfing my first and only board, a 5'6" LF venture. It's a great board to learn on being super bouyant. I still want to keep it around for the first timers and cruising days but I would like to have...

Trickboardz(Asylum Boards)...Mojo and/or surf skate
Inland Surfer 4-Skim Black Pearl "Yellow" - Tri Fin
Slingshot Asylum

I have an old hyperlite I borrowed from someone, not sure of the name (Inlander maybe?). Has big fins, am in the market for a new one

Iwakeboard, nice to meet you on wakeworld lol! Still waiting for that story! :) You are probably referring to the Hyp Landlock, it is basically a longboard.

I have a Hyp Broadcast 5.6' and Inland Surfer 4.5" 4-skim (dual fin - it needs more fin!).
I have ordered the Asylum Mojo and Skate! Should be here in a few months, I get to design the graphics yay!

I would love a Shredd Stixx.

Haha, you too! I can't get enough wakeboarding, especially in the winter months when you start to crave it, I'm all over these forums and so are you, haha

and I'll possibly write up that story on Friday, when I don't have work or school.

Plan on trying surfing this year. Just bought a Ronix Cortez 5" 4" yesterday at the boat show. Anyone used one of these? Hopefully it will last us a while. Just newbies and all to the surf game...

I have the 2009 CWB Ride. It works fine for me now but I am pretty sure its a beginner board. I haven't researched getting a new one yet.

I have heard nothing but good things about the CWB ride. It's kinda twin tipped looking right? That and the Hyp Coex are a could of great compression molded surfers that are pretty cheap and easily available and are known for ripping.

Inland Surfer Red Woody.

I've got the Broadcast. So far it has been a great first board. I would like one that will allow for some fast spins and sliding around though.

Ya it has three fins in the back and one in the front, all of which are removable so you can set it up how over you want. I took some of the fins off to try to make it easier to do 360's but the board felt REALLY loose in the water. Plus I had no idea how to do a 360 but thought I would give it a shot, lol. I really like the board though and it was resonably priced at $300.

I was looking at the WW reviews and plenty of people said it could do 3's but have trouble getting air (not easy anyways)and it nose dives a bit. To do the 3 don't try to spin, instead get close to the boat, drag your trailing hand on the wave and turn the board up the face of the wave and try to ride back down.

I'm riding a James Walker signature by Walker Project. The boat boards are a Broadcast, Inland Woody, and a CWB Razr. I chose the Razr over the Ride because I think it is a faster and more maneuverable board. The Razr treated me very well before jumping on the Walker board. I still ride the Razr from time to time.

I'd like to ride a Shred Stixx, Inland Sweet Spot, and Drew.

Inland Surfer; hands down the nicest boards around. Not cheap, but I switched from my Razr to a Swallow Quad and I'm in heaven. I prefer surf to skim, but they've got one for everything.

Ronix Cortez.

Just bought it this winter so can't wait to try it out with my new ballest bags in the boat. Like the fact that the 3 fins are removable, so I can play around with them.

Nice boards, yes. Nicest around, bold statement. They do have the nicest media ads around though

Haven't wakesurfed yet, but the kids' Christmas Coex is up in the rafters with 1600 lbs of ballast bags and the 5'-6" Liquid Shredder is hanging on the wall - all waiting for me to get the boat put back together.

Inland Surfer? - wouldn't mind a test ride on any of their "models"

There's a few on craigslist in your general area
Hyperlite Landlock Wake Surfer - $225 (Rockwall)
Or
2009 Ronix Koal 5' Wakesurf - $175 (Frisco)
Or
2009 CWB Blackjack Wakesurf Board - $150 (nw austin)
Or
Liquid Force Wakesurf Board - $85 (North S.A.) although San Antonio may be too far to travel.

I've been out twice so far. Its a diff feel for sure...very slick and much more unstable compared to the Venture. I really like it tho. I tried a 360 and ended up with a 720 .
