Any boat at SML? I am looking at renting a house. I have never been to SML so I have no clue where to rent or how it is? I hear it is beautiful, but gets crowded on the weekends. My typical boating is on Lake Gaston, Lake Anna or Kerr.

I am also wanting to make a trip to SML! I have never been so I'm in the same "boat" that you are - lol!
If you take a trip there, please let us know where you stayed, and how things went. Maybe there should be a category for threads that is for favorite lake-front vacation spots . . .:cool:

SML is really nice, we have friends who have a house there. During the week it is great, but the weekends are scary. There are some big boats out there. I don't really have a lot to offer as far as places to stay - sorry!
