When I got my boat it is solid black. But they told me they will put the decals on the side if I want this spring. What do you think?

My vote would be with graphics. Either way you go it is a beautiful boat.

That SUPRA logo with the flames looks really nice on black, I would say go with the graphics.

I'd get the graphics, i like them. But if ya didnt you could always remove them later

I like the graphics. I'm having these installed right now with Jim at Viper Customs.... (this isn't my boat but these are the graphics I'm using)

Let me say, they aren't cheap. I'm paying $650 installed. So, if they are giving you these for buying the boat ...at least take the graphics and keep them for later.

Let me rethink this...if I'm you, I would "murder" that thing out. I love the all black, it looks sick. I'd powder coat everything on it and tint the windows. Just totally black it all out. Now that would look bad a$$, IMO.

I like the graphics.

I like the graphics, but I'm also a fan of all black. I say you should tint the windows, powder the tower black, and get a black "SUPRA" graphic with either silver or grey small drop shadow or outline, so you almost dont even notice it.

Mine wil be getting the windows done and hopefully the tower before summer.

I really like the graphics you have pictured, however, I would stay away from having the red accents put in. Just all black with white font and grey logos. The one pictured further down the page is nice too!

If I were in your shoes, this is what I would do, like i described above. To me, IMO, this is beautiful. It would stop me dead in the water and cause at least a triple take plus a stare down!!

The quality is horrible on this, it did it in Paint, but after describing it above, I had to do it. Hopefully it will help!

With the flames. That boat has too much black to have nothing else to accent it.

Mine will not have the red at the bottom. That was just a pic I found of a black boat with the same graphics. It will stay black at the bottom.

Anybody know what a dealer would charge for the celtic flames? Just the graphics, not the install.

Like dusty said - except I think a dark metalic gunmetal color logo and possibly flames would look really cool. Like "ghost" flames done in a silvery black/gunmetal color. In certain light you wouldn't even notice the flames!

csuggs and dusty hit the nail on the head.

Ghost everything out. Black out the windows, the tower and anything else you can think of. Then do whatever graphics you choose in a slightly lighter color. That way you have some character but it is still "murdered out".

There was a ssv next to mine at the marina that was the polar opposite. Everything was white. The boat, seats, tower and all the graphics. He had a white gravity games logo as well as a white tribal supra logo on the back. Then he put a small casper the ghost cartoon on both sides near the back.

Wish I had pics. That boat was sick.
I think the black would look awesome though.

I would also be interested in the price of the celtic flames, could you post a price up for everyone?

Or so as to not jeopardize any relation to what was quoted, a rough price range?

Decals----- The $507.10 would be the price plus shipping

This is what I am thinking of doing, the guys at zdecals did the photoshop rendition for me. Cost is around $600.

The only thing I am worried about is the decals coming off when surfing, I already lost the stock rear port side decals. Any one else having this problem?

Never heard of losing the decals when surfing. Now I have something else to worry myself about..lol!

I like that. I am kind of a fan of when the letters extend off the boat like that. 600 isn't too bad IMO.

Mine had the white Gravity edition stickers stategically placed under every cleat, so whenever I had fenders on the boat, they'd rub the stickers off. Makes me leary of putting anything else on there.....

Steve, I like the before picture better.

I could go either way. If you leave it black you need to do some more to it. As others said, powder coat the tower first, then maybe tint the windows and either powder coat your wheels black or put another wheel on there. If not, just throw a decal on there and it will finish the boat up nice... let me see if I can track down a few pics of some of my old black supras.... as you can see I like black and the powder coated tower really works...

I like the black, i'd tint the windows and roll with it, however the wooden looking supra graphic in the post above does look pretty good.

I know this is a super old thread, but does anyone know where to get these ghost flame decals? I have them on mine, but they're wearing.
