View Full Version : Oil Drain Pump

Here are some pics of my oil pump. The pump is a 12v unit that would usually be used for a mobile spraying unit. I used a ball valve to the stock drain hose; to keep any pressure or oil from leaking all the way through the pump. The rest are just barbs with hose and clamps. I decided not to put the pump on a switch. I didnt want anyone to just try it out. It works well when the oil is somewhat warm. I ususally try to drain it right after we load.

Can you write a little more about this project? How much was the pump and where from. Can you describe where you mounted it? If you can do a little more write up this would be great to move to the Supra Mods forum as a how-to thread! Very nice!

Ill do a better write up. The pics that I posted were the only ones that I had at the time. Ill get some better ones this weekend. We are going to get her out and do some cleaning and measuring.
