Mine is black, on both boats. Never once have I regretted it.

Go for it.

I have had both black and red. I'ts the shade you benefit from, black works just as good, and looks sweet!

I have a black one and never noticed it being "hot" under it. When it is 100 degrees out, its hot everywhere! Go with the black, you should be fine

Black for sure... Not only will it look much much better, but it won't show all the dirt and grime that a white one will. Not sure I have seen a white bimini....

shade is shade. the darker color would theoretically block more sunlight but if you're getting sunbrella, it won't shine thru white. it's not that hot to the touch. the gunnels get just as hot on a 100 degree day.

Jet Black one comin - Sunbrella FYI...35"x 72"
Since the Boat is white with black stripes ( white gunnels - white int w/black accents) I agree - it will look wicked... I was worried about it bein hotter - never figured about the gettin and showin dirty part...I knew ya'll would steer me right!
