any idea why my boat is fishtailing really bad when i get up to high speed? I keep the steering wheel steady and straight and the boat is fishtailing almost out of control... its like the ruder is moving by my steering wheel isnt..
Sounds like the rudder is loose. Have someone hold the steering wheel and then you get under the boat while on the trailer and wiggle the rudder to see how loose it is. that should give a place to start. Let us know what you find out. Jet

Or else your steering cable may be bad or may need to have greese squeezed into it.
Yeah..Im thinking Its been stretched and might need to be replaced. Jet

Can anyone tell me the correct procedure for removing the rudder? I am having difficulty getting the threaded pin out.
