It was 65 on Sunday (even though it snowed in the morning) and the same
on Monday. Will be in the 70's this weekend, but woke up to this today...

It will only be about 40 degrees today.

Todd, you gotta keep that boat inside!!!!!! its just too darn nice to be left out in the elements!!!

It won't fit inside, and I am broke right now ... can't afford to build the garage I had planned. Around here, inside storage is outrageous in cost, so ... she sits out.

My garage is neither deep enough, nor is the door tall enough with teh "bling trailer", and i am NOT going to REMOVE The tower and windshield to put it in.

Sad, yes --- but another reason I invested in a good custom cover -- just with I would have had the OVER THE TOWER one made in hindsight.

Thats too bad storage was not a little more reasonable, you can find some good storage in my area for around $125-150 per month. For the amount of money these boats costs paying that for a few months out of the year is a bargain to me.... it looks like the cover you have is doing the job.

I have to put the tower down to fit it in my side yard garage, it takes me about 10 minutes to remove the Z5 and drop the tower, not too bad. It would be great to be able to back it in with the tower up, maybe my next house will have a higher door that it will fit in! always nice to dream a little ;)

Travis,

I could find some around here for a similar price - but I don't trust the security
of these places to put my $65k boat there "out of sight".

Also, keep in mind - my winter lasts longer than yours, so 7 months of $150 isn't trivial.

besides -- any time it's nice, we want to go, and I don't want to go have to maneuver it out of storage.

Oh well ... I hate having it outside, but at the moment - that's what I can do.

I am originally from MT, so I can relate to the crazy weather and heeavy spring snow. Not a ton better here in Northern Washington either, although this year has been pretty mellow. Love your boat, one of these days it will be time to get some hours on her!! Until then, wait patiently...

One reason I am anxious - is one week from today, we are dragging the boat to
Lake Havasu ... so she's going to get wet very soon ...

Thanks for the kudos.

Were you here last winter? We got record snowfalls. ;)
