i'd check around the classifieds of wakeboarding sites:
www.wakeworld.com
www.wakeboarder.com
and ebay
lots of people have sold their pylons to get towers. i used a hack saw to cut the t's off of the factory pylon. the new pylon covers it up.

I just bought a pylon on ebay fro $150 for my 86 supra. You just have to pound the T out. I sprayed some wd40 on both sides and supported the pylon with my weight the best I could and pounded it out with a good size hammer. It was a breeze.

It really makes a diff when wakeboarding. So much more room since I have a closed bow. My next step is to get some racks and speakers. I found mine searching different ways under pylons on ebay. Sometimes someone will list it wring and you get a sweet deal.

Sounds good. been looking under various things myself... pylon, tower, pole..wakeboard extenstion... etc..
usually when I see one that hasn't been viewed much, I think maybe I can get a good deal.. then get outbid at the last second.
Oh well. Found one on Craigs list too.. Skylon in good shape with a 4 board rack for $200.. the person never replied back though.... bummer.
one of these days..:p

i got a 2 piece. It is really nice and its strong. I cannot tell the diff between a 2 peice and a 1 peice strength wise but the 2 is super quick to put up and take down.
