Strainer Location.

OK I am having a problem finding the screen for the strainer. I have a 02 SSV I took the hose going to the tranny cooler that runs from the raw water intake and did not see anything in there... Any help??

well it usually infront of before the vdrive, there is no water hose going to the tranny

Mine does not have the white plastic housing it is just a direct hose to the tranny cooler...

taking the hose of the end that leads to the trans heat exchanger/cooler off from the vdrive, stick your finger up in there, you should feel the screen/strainer inside the cooler..

the picture above is an addon water strainer either from the dealer/factory or user.
