my 87 sunsport has what i think is the origanal 3 blade brass prop. anyone try other props and what would work best? 3 or 4 blade? any info is helpfull.

I am using a four blade prop on my '90 Sunsport. It provides a better hole shot with a slight loss in top speed, about 1 mph for me.

they have a 3 blade prop that gives all the hole shot of a 4 blade and the top end of a 3 blade. i have the 541 model, my old 4 blade OJ never sees the light of day (or water of the lake).

they'll want to know what speed you run and how much weight to make a recommendation.
