I know it's 10 days in to April already, but let's post up some April pics. Whether it be April riding pics/mod pics/weather pics/whatever, let's see what everyone has going on this month. So post em' up!

I'll start with a picture of my (finally) tinted windows installed on the boat. I guess, technically, I started on this mod in March, but, I installed them on the boat a couple days ago. Llumar 20% film:

I also got the "built-in" fake a lake installed:

With any luck at all, we're going out later today ... I will still have to re-winterize
after our ride -- we're not out of the hard-freeze time yet here, but some thigns are just worth it!

Doc -- your transom straps look "gangster" on that beautiful boat -- you need
some permanent retractable straps sir, they bolt on to the eye-hooks already there.

Much easier - and look so clean ... Boatbuckles (http://www.overtons.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?i=32050&pdesc=BoatBuckle_Retractable_Transom_Tie_Down_Syst em&str=retractable+straps&merchID=4005) are what came on my trailer...

I hit the lake today with my daughters (wife's out of town). Don't have any ride pics because my 15 yr old was driving, and 6 yr old was working the flag/rope/observer. I thought it might be a little much to ask her to take pictures too http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p242/carlapryor/Winkingsmileyanimated.gif but nevertheless, here's a couple shots from today. Air was 89, water 57, great day

Double-post because of the picture limit.

Also put my motorcycle back together. It was red with some cheap graphics from the factory. All of that's gone, and all fairings are matching.

No they don't rust and yea they're marine grade. Rod Saver has been making boat transom straps for eons. In fact this set was on my last boat for two years and i took them off when i sold it and added them to the Moomba trailer.

The ones I posted are around for about $65, so it's not like it's a huge difference, really.

But if the Rod Savers work - why not. Mine came on my trailer.

Thats a great price, I paid $90 for the boatmate ratchet style straps. I have had nothing but great service from Jerry at boatmate trailers, I knew I could find them a little cheaper but wanted to give them the business. They are a great company to work with.

Doc,

At Overton's, anyway - it's $69.99 for 2 of them:

The innovative BoatBuckleŽ Tie-Down System securely holds your boat to the trailer with easy, one-hand operation. This self-storing, retractable strap extends to a full 42", while the snugging ratchet tightens the strap with just a lift and click. Simple one-bolt installation makes the BoatBuckleŽ part of the trailer. Includes two submersible, water-resistant BoatBuckleŽ tie-downs and hardware.

Amazon has them for $62, but I didn't see it called out specifically there are 2

No pics of Jason's boat, but it's coming along....

Since I can't get out on the water for working on everyone else's boats, and mine is still at the dealer, I'm starting a new thread with install pics from some of the boats I've been working on, instead of posting them here. That's how my April will be spent anyway.

IPOD Connector and favorite addition....A knob that controls the volume separately for all of the bow speakers. Wife and her friends can sit up front in relative peace and quiet while we all jam in the back playing Metallica very loud.

https://forum.supraboats.com/picture.php?albumid=141&pictureid=961

Also added an Arc Audio KS900.6 amp and 750 lb ballast bags in the rear lockers. Only thing I didn't add this winter that I wanted was the GPS perfect pass upgrade. I had one more spare paddle wheel and just hate spending the 500 bucks when I can replace the 25 dollar wheel. Of course the first time I lose the wheel this year I probably will replace it as well.

luvin the tint job and your wheels. I've looked on the Moomba forum at your wheels and always refer to them when considering an upgrade. Nice ride!

Easter this year. Only time we have had it out. Weather hasn't cooperated.

Air temp was 80. Water was 45.

Me up and riding first time this year on our "new" boat and new board.

Duck decided to get out of the cold water as well. Dog never paid attention to it.

We docked near shore and explored a rock that was hand carved during the logging days before they built the dam. Under normal conditions it is under water. Couldn't believe the quality of the chiseling. Would imagine few would be able to replicate it without lasers.

You are a animal being able to brave 45 degree water in just boardshorts.
That carving is amazing.

Animal? I say NUTS --- I bet it keeps you from doing anything too risky!

Our water is now about 48 degrees, and never goes above about 73, even in August.

how much $ for the decals from Supra?? you could get a print shop to copy the look? I am getting a price right now to make my 06 with the Launch sticker and fruity swirl around it replaced with the 2010 look big Supra logo with the keltic flame. I would do a warp but for $2500 I will put that money into sleding lol.

It was like $250 per side for the flame. I had the "fruity swirl" removed and left the Supra name. If you wanted to buy the Supra name logo, thats another 150 each. My install cost was $100.

So my total cost was $600. However it could be as much as $900 plus.

I think you could basically get a sign shop to match it. I didn't check on it. The factory decal does has a nice cracked/marbling effect to it that doesn't show in the pics and this may be hard to match. However, the sign shop may do something better.

Post of pics of yours. I'd love to see it.

thats kinda what I thought the pricing would be, not bad for just the flames, your boat looks great man I like the look, my problem is I only have the centre panel colored dark blue not up to the rub rail so I would need some darker flames that go on the white hull. I wish I had the supra logo instead of the launch maybe I will remove fruity swirl regardless lol.... if I can get the Supra logo and some sort of graphic/keltic flame at the rear for $500 total I am in...
here is what it looks like right now.

It is all in where you grew up I think. That water during a warm summer (low to mid 80) will get 68 maybe 70. Can't wait forever and it only gets warmer no matter where I go from here.

Earliest we have ever been in. Friend jumped in and out, but didn't want to stay in long enough to ride.

As far as busy...yeah...1 other boat all Fri/Sat. 4 were putting in on Sunday.
