Hey guys. Im ready to start wet sanding but I need to borrow a heat gun and a high speed buffer for a couple of days. Dont really want to buy one for a one time usage. Jet

I'd loan you my heat gun, but we use it daily for work, so I really couldn't go without it. Harbor Freight in Richardson sells them for about $15 if I'm not mistaken. I know it's a haul, but you'd be surprised how often those darn things come in handy, and for $15 it's worth it.

Jet, I used to make weekly trips to that Harbor Freight. I work about 10 minutes away. For proffesional use, the tools areent so great, but for guys like us out in the garage, you can't beat em!

Jet, Harbor is great for everyday tools, and things that are made of solid steel. Don't ever buy anything from them that has an excess of moving parts, is used for extended heavy duty work loads, or has to stand a serious test of time. We have a bunch of Harbor freight tools, and most of them are really great tools.
A socket set that has taken a serious beating for 7 years, countless wrenches, ratchets, grinders, blades, and other tools. Never buy things like air compressors, welders, or lathes from them. They're all junk.
Glad to hear you're in business with your wet sanding project, now.
