Catchy Title?

Do yall think this is too much for a boat name? Is it just asking for trouble? I know it pushes the line but thats why i like it. My wife and i have gone back and forth on whether or not we should put it on there so i figured i'd throw it to yall to get some opinions.

I attached a couple pictures of what i was thinking. The one of the boat is terrible (as i suck at "paint") but it at least gives an idea. I planned on having the line through the x to make the perscription symbol.

The people we know would understand because they know my wife is a pharmacist but what would everyone else think ...?

Who cares what everyone else thinks. So long as you like it, it should be all that matters. It's not offensive language, it's a bit suggestive. If someone doesn't like it, tell them to make your boat payments and you'll put whatever they think is clever and appropriate on the boat. ;)

I like it, it fits especially with the prescription symbol..no reason to call attention to yourself with water patrol.

Here is my logo on one of my racing sailboats, the logo is 6' long on both sides of the hull. We get lots of reactions when traveling around the racing circuit. :eek:

Our other race boat is named after an old well known strip joint in town. :p

Don't have my Supra named....its our family time boat.

I have the name printed just not sure wether to put it on...

Matt I'm in the same spot. My friend owns a Vinyl cutter and he's made tags for the boat, and for the trailer that read "Medium Pimpin'" I'm just not sure if I want it on the boat, now.

Vagtastic Voyager is one of the best names I've ever heard for a boat.

My concern is mainly if i would be calling too much attention to myself, not necessarily what others would think.

This is our family boat as well. There will be many times we pull up to eat or get gas and we get out with our 2 year old daughter. Plus we are younger so im sure i'll get tons of "those stupid kids".

Anyways, the shock and attention is what i love about the name, just not sure if its too far.

I'd rock Drug Money any day, especially the background it has with the wife. I'm wanting to name ours "Motor Boatin" but I'd have to remove the big Supra logo across the transom and I just haven't been motivated enough.

I love all the names. I'm sure some grandmas won't but they probably cant see that far anyways. :) I like how you are not using blinged-out chrome lettering and instead use understated red on black. Also you can explain in 3 words "she's a pharma".

We were thinking about making a stripper pole too. Some of the girls like to dance, and no they aren't hookers, just out having fun. I think something like that would get in the way too much though.

Along with the post. I think Drug Money is awesome in its context. Especially with the story behind why you would name it that. At first I was kinda iffy thinking why would he name his boat that, then I read the punch line... Its awesome.

I see baja s and cruisers on fresh water with names painted all across the transom. I've never seen a boat naming rule book. There will always be negative nancys in the crowd. Any person with a scence of humor and sometimes a explanation will think it is a good name.

I caught the meaning behind the name before reading that your wife is a Pharmacist. I think most people would and I wouldn't worry about the ones who don't. It's a clever name and I say go for it!

I thought it was a retarded name until I read your wife is a pharmacist. One of the biggest boats on my body of water (56ft Cruisers Yacht) is named "Crime Pays."

Well the boat is in the shop and supposed to be worked on tomorrow. I seemed to get more yes's than no's.

I have been contemplating this and the rear port/starboard decals that are going on for way to long now and still have nothing. Only idea is to stay simple so i dont f it up.

I'll make a gut decision in the morning when they call! Pics to follow im sure.

Your decals are black with red border, and your boat is black with red accents, so I really dont think it will be very 'flashy' - unless you get metal flake in the letters hahaha!

I don't think Mikey had a problem with negative post as in "its no way a cool name in my opinion". Negative post, as in not agreeing, are definately game here. Thats why we ask each other for opinions.

Not saying you have to be positive as in 'approving of or saying yes'; just please try to phase your comments or critizisms in a positive manner (ie make a helpful suggesstion) and try not to be blatently insulting.
