Supra Nano Block Technology Vinyl Test

Many people have asked about the quality of vinyl Supra is using on there newer boats. In 2008 they started using NANO BLOCK Technology by CMI Enterprises. They sent me a cleaning kit and sample with a Sharpie marker to test out the stain resistence of the vinyl. I also have taken some pictures of the broshure that explains the triple UV protection from other brands, mildew/microbial protection, etc...

The stain test was done with a Sharpie permanent marker, I think the pictures will give you a good idea of just how good this vinyl is with stain protection. I was very impressed on how it completely 100% removed the stain, and we all know Sharpie markers are pretty damn tough to get out of anything.

So... Do you need to have vinyl treated with this stuff from the factory or applied to the final during manufacturing?? Or is it something you spray on my old existing vinyl to protect it?

The cleaner is only for Nano Tech vinyl (2008-current), which is treated from the factory at production. I dont know what would happen if you used this cleaner on older vinyl, you could always call CMI and ask them.
