Search the net for the model # of your radio for a users manual. Sorry if I wasnt much help.

The Kenwoods didn't come with an MP3 input, but they do make an adapter
that will allow you to plug it in. Can't get into my boat right now to find the part number but will look for it next time.

They also make (for some of hte head units) and iPod specific hookup -- but if you are not into playlists, you would not like it. (and you would have to make sure it would work
with your head unit) http://www.buymarineelectronics.com/marine_accessories/kca_ip500.htm

I was thinking that you were looking for the aux in. I've heard people say that the iPod controler is a pain to navigate.

Have a o4 Launch with a kenwood system. Radio shack said that model of kenwood would not work for mp3 or ipod to be wired directly in and said i would need to replace the head unit. They might have just been trying to sell me somthing but thats what the tech said.
