Went out for first time on Saturday. Belts squeeled real bad until motor warmed up. I put new belts on last year and they seemed fairly tight. So I creeped along to a sand bar. Was a slow ride but felt great to be on water. Played at sandbar then decided I have to board, everyone get in the boat. All in, turned key, nothing. I hate that feeling when there is not a single other boat insight and yours wont start. So I check the main 50 amp breaker to the boat and it was tripped. I unhooked it completeley so it would reset then I can trace the problem. It never would reset so I bypassed it and limped to the dock. My guess is the breaker went bad. Its a shame I put it in new four years ago and a new one is around 45 bucks. Gotta love the first day out.
