Do you think this prop is repairable?
Or, even repairable enough to use as an emergency back-up?
Just toss it??

Send JT an email or PM here on these forums and he can tell you for sure. Great pics. I would guess yes.
James Propeller of Dallas, TX has examples of props in much worse condition than that the he's repaired. I don't claim to know jack about props, but just based on what I've seen from that shop, I'd guess yes.

Typically the only time a prop CANNOT be repaired is if there is a significant amount of material missing. Yours looks to have almost all of the material there so you should be good to go.
If you decide to through it away, through it in my direction -- I'll pay for shipping.

You should be a able to get it fixed. Mine looked similar to yours. I sent it to ProperPitch in delaware and had it back in a week and it looks almost like brand new. I think i paid $140 and that included shipping back. They also provide you with a computer report showing the balancing and the variances on each blade. Contact scott stewart at www.properpitch.com
