Local parts store can get the electronic upgrade for old supras, Should I? $70

Its made by mallory and its for older ford 351's What do you guys think? It will be in friday so im at least going to maybe attempt to see if its the same

If its for a supra it should be marine. I have found some things skidim sells for much cheaper at local stores. I love skidim with their technical advice but it pays to look around a bit.

Make sure it works with your distributor. Some 351's have the Mallory, some Prestolite.......

Check with Summit Racing or JC Whitney. They have electronic ignitions for both the Mallory and Prestolite marine distributors. About 70-80 bucks. Definitely needs to be the marine version. Very easy to install.

I think Mallory makes a conversion kit for the prestolite dist. If it is for the screw down cap and it is marine. I will buy one for $70 if he can get anymore.

Napa orderd me in the 70 dollar one with no luck, But im going to check with my part numbers to see if they can get the right one b4 I order it elsewhere!
