Out on the boat Sunday - air 76, water 48

Last night I winterized it again because tonight will be in the 20's and
we have the following warning from the weather service (yes, it's MAY 11th!!)

* Timing... Rain Will Develop This Afternoon And Mix With Snow
Late. It Should Change Over To All Snow By Early This Evening
And Continue Into Late Morning On Wednesday.

* Accumulation/Wind... Snow Accumulations Of 6 To 14 Inches Are
Possible Over Eastern Larimer And Northwestern Weld Counties
With The Highest Amounts Near The Foothills.

I live in the foothills - man am I sick of cold weather ...

I agree with dusty. Move south. There is a reason why the birds do it.

I lived in the North....Moved to Texas. Wondered why it took me so many years to move to warm weather all the time.....

I wouldn't say that it is warm all the time. But it sure beets snow all the time. The only thing to worry about is a tornado.

moving is NOT in the near future for me (at least not planned).

If I did have to move, it would be to Alpharetta, GA (Atlanta basically) - and that is
not interesting to me at all.

Going anywhere else would mean leaving the company I have worked at for over
25 years. Not to mention family here (as in my 5 GRANDBABIES!)

But - I would like to get away from this cold.

My boat is in CT so at least it is cold for this time of year, low 30's last night, but nothing needs to be done. Phew.. We need some warm weather so we can get out there!!

That sucks.... Our water is still cold but I saw 91* on the truck thermometer yesterday... (dont ask about the 27 tornados we had in the previous 24hrs thou)

Matt...and more to come...LOL

I saw that some of CO and WY was going to get some snow. My MIL and her hubby live near the Big Horns in WY. It's a bit of an odd year this year with weather. Definitely haven't seen weather like this in a while.
