ive searched on here and couldnt find an answer to a question.....simple question , do ALL the hoses have to be the reinforced hoses ? It seems like your raw water hose from the bottom / trans cooler / to your raw water pump would not have to be ....i can see where maybe your exhaust would need to be ...but what about all others??

Thanks

I would so they dont collapse. If they were to do that, no water flow.

All my water hoses except the ones from the T-stat housing to the elbow and the elbow to the water circulator pump are reinforced. The exhaust isn't reinforced, either. The reason you need the wire is as Saltare Inverts said, it prevents collapse from the suction of the impeller.

Yeah the pump will collapse regular hose when it is sucking in raw water.

Anything AFTER the impeller does not need to be re-inforced, because it is not suctioning at this point. I found this out when installing my hot water shower. Was able to T into the impeller hose after it leaves the housing. Cut the hose and there was nothing re-enforcing it.
