How are these boats compared with Sunsports, Mariahs, etc for slalom, how flat is the wake when you're up to speed? I saw one on a trailer once and it looked like a ship compared to a Sunsport, how do they accelerate, plane off etc compared with a sunsport w/ the same 454? What do they top out at? I'm looking for a dual purpose slalom/wakeboard boat, I'm sure the larger hulls are more favorable to boarding, but it would be nice to have the additional room too.

We slalom and trick ski behind mine. It is bigger than formentioned boats but very acceptable over 29 mph. The size does leave you with plenty of room and a hard slalom cut is less noticable. The driver has to do less when a hard slalom cut is performed. Not anything as nice as a combrio for slalom but much better than any IO.

Props to them little boats!!, I have slalomed behind my Conbrio, there's almost no wake above 30mph However the Saltare and Sunsports perform a great double duty skiing and wake boarding......
