Finally to do doing the Fulton F2 upgrade. Bought the jack and adapter
plate from smoothwatersports.com -- if you contact peter directly, it's
a little cheaper than what you would pay on ebay.

Nasty under here, bit of a pain to get the old bolt cut off close enough!

Didn't want all that to rust under the new jack:

Thanks John B (jonyb) for paving the way -- this was an easy mod, and I really
like the new jack much better. This is what they are putting on all the new trailers.

VERY easy mod - hardest part, getting the bolt cut off and flush. Then waiting
for the paint to dry.

NOTE: the adapter plate is not painted when sent to you - so you will need to do that.

Todd, looks real nice.... what was the total damage ($) for that upgrade with the adaptor? And just curious, did you have problems with your old Fulton or just wanted a better looking jack?

Travis, it was about $160 I think. Not really problems, but
the dual wheels are more stable and there is no grease
to get all over your hands. It's also adjustable for how low or
high

Looks good Todd....

Thanks John - I probably wouldn't have done it without you going first.

Hey - how you doing these days? Surgery is getting close - how long is that
going to have you out of circulation?

Travis, it was about $167 with shipping - I actually bough this a while back
and finally got it put in. The shipping was NOT cheap, but this is pretty heavy
jack - so I don't know how much "handling" was in there ...

It's supposed to be June 7th and June 22nd, but I got a call today saying the insurance company is still denying the claim. Several other people from where I work have been through the same thing. What worries me is that it's less than a week/half away, and I still haven't been for Pre-Op. I'm affraid they're gonna put it off again. The last one being June 22nd puts me out at least until the middle of August :(

That about what he quoted me, my funds are exhausted right now, and my wife would not be happy about this one.... will have to throw it on the winter mod list this year :(

Again, looks great on your trailer.

John,

I am assuming since you're posting today that the first surgery did NOT happen today?

Do you have a plan yet?

Todd

I added the F2 jack to my upgrades last week after my stock jack broke. This thing is nice and beefy. I really like it so far. Thanks everyone for sharing info on this jack. I have the matching winch ordered and on its way.

Does it allow the front of the trailer to be lowered further then the stock jack does? The reason I ask is my garage is about 2” to short even with the tower folded down so I have to drop it down on a floor jack every time I roll it in or out of the garage.

I don't know how it compared to the stock as far as height b/c I never lowered the stock jack all the way down..never had a reason to. However, I actually measured my overall ht with the tower down today. With the jack up my ht was 7'2.5" With the jack at the lowest position, my ht was 6'10". I hope this helps.

I am not sure either, but the jack is adjustable as to where you put the center of it, so I am assuming you could make it do what you want.
