I left my batteries on for the week, and went to use the boat, and of course they were dead. I jumped one of them, and it fired. So we used the boat for the day. The next day it worked also. i noticed my batt life flashing. This is a new boat to me and I am not sure if it has always been blinking, or are my batteries not charged??

What recharges them when in use? Is there an alternator?? Can I trickle charge both of them again and just be all set??

Lost..

thanks!!!

They would normally get charged by the alternator. They may be struggling to maintain a charge. You can put a good charger on them and see if you can get them sufficiently charged. You might consider having them tested.

Yeah, charging with the alternator will get it back to 70-80% You need a good slow overnight charge. Jet

Search on here for chargers - there have been a lot of discussions.

If you are worried your batteries may be shot, most places like Napa or Schucks will test them free of charge if you bring them in to them. Just FYI...
