lol the 89 seems to be able to hold a 650 sac, right Oakie? My 87 only holds a 350 however the locker is fiberglass and ROCK solid w/o any extra support

Thanks mikey I knew you would know. The 89 also has a fiberglass locker as well right?

No prob. :) Most of the 89's appear to have a thinner plastic locker that is easily removable. While it is still strong enough to hold a 650 sac, everyone has been reinforcing their over the gas tank. See Oakie's rebuild thread.

The 89 is a ~1/8" plastic drop in. I have a bag in there that is 10" x 16" x 70". The ski locker dimensions are slightly smaller. It seems to fill up most of the way...maybe 80-90%. It's a 400 pound bag. I figure I'm getting 325-350 pounds. I reinforced under it and that seems to be working OK.
