I have a 06 20ssv with a new problem. Once the boat reaches about 35 mph it starts surging, the more throttle, the harder the surge. The boat will go up to about 35 then cut all power until it gets to about 31 then back up and down. This is a very rapid and somewhat violent surge. My prop is perfect, 125 hrs on the boat, perfect pass is OFF, but I have a feeling its the perfect pass servo messing with the throttle cable. I have "rewound" the servo cable and completely reset PP with no luck. The throttle cable is not getting stuck on anything, it's not an engine problem, the engine runs good all the way up the rpms. Any ideas?

Just a suggestion:

Make sure perfect pass is not doing it - unplug it or disable it in some way.

If problem persists, then there might be a bad sensor on the engine. Could be a coolant sensor flooding out the engine or MP sensor. Also if you have a MAF sensor it could be malfunctioning. The only way on these fuel injected engines sometimes is to plug them into a computer and get readouts or faults.
