Went out with the Supra 92 Sunsport direct drive yesterday. I 've been having a small transmission leak, but yesterday it leaked about a quart of fluid out. Well, now I have to do something about it, just can't keep filling it with fluid and sealer every time I go out. How hard is it to replace the shaft seals yourself or do you think I should just send it to a boat repair shop? What about the cost? I'am mechanically incline and been told I can fix just about anything. Looking for advice how to procede?

Call SkiDim. They have manuals and parts and will talk you thru the process. FYI: I pulled my trans out on mine without lift and by myself. Engine will support itself with front mounts. I used a 2x4 on rear while trans was out for support. Probably should replace clutches while it is out. Good luck.

Sorry to hear that Tim -- listen to these guys with the older Supra's like
yours - and I would call skidim.com and talk to them as Chris recommended.

(congrats on the new foiler!)
