Got the boat out on the water finally today and it did the same thing as last year....Cuts out at 1/2 throttle. I know it could be a lot of things, but since I went through this last year and the symptoms are pretty much identical, I figure I'll start with the fuel delivery and go from there. i pulled the fuel filter while on the water and found it a little gummed up with sediment. At this point I'm assuming my tank has got some junk in it and I'm wondering if anyone has any exp. with getting a gas tank steamed. Gonna try a new fuel filter tomorrow and if the problem corrects it's self I'll pull the gas tank and have it cleaned.
Boat will run at idle or 1/3 throttle forever, that's what made me think it was fuel delivery.
BTW we paddled for about a mile ( killed my batt. trying to get it started, guess I'd better get that #2 batt. installed...) before the Police Marine Unit showed up for a tow, they also sent a second boat so it was like we had an escort, best tow of shame yet!!!!!Toronto's Marine Unit is amazing!!!!

My old mercury 115 did the same thing yesterday to me. I know it's a completely different system but mine had a cracked fuel line and was sucking air.

Sounds like a fuel deliver problem. What I did to mine was put 2-glass inline filters, one before the fuel pump 1/2" size and one after the fuel pump regular size, that way when your on the water you can look and know that you have fuel pressure because you can see it and you know if Its dirty. Also put some water absorbing fuel cleaner in there, there is always water floating around in there too. Jet
