I just wanted to throw a lake music recommendation out there that worked PERFECT last weekend.

Girl Talk. Buy, download, or steal an album and check it out. Perfect for the lake. We just hit play and didnt think about it until it was repeating and everyone on the boat seemed to enjoy it.

Due to the timing of the reply, im sensing some sarcasm.

"Feed the Animals" will have the most recent hits but it may not be for everyone. I'm not big into the mixtape stuff and dont listen to it outside of the lake but it worked better than most playlist ive created in the past.

Okay, so I just youtubed that song you posted. Way better than what iTunes came up with. If you have iTunes, go type in Girl Talk and preview the first 3 songs, which is what I did. You'll see where my sarcasm came in!

Now, the Feed the Animals track, that was a damn good mix. I will def. be getting it.

I would call this mixed hiphop made completly from samples from all genres of music from 80's to today.

I love techno and mixed music. This was a little all-over-the-place for me but you gotta respect the guy's creativity and passion for music. Thanks for sharing.

I'm personally a fan of Barry Manilow when wakeboarding. That guys music just pumps you up, doesn't it? ;)

I've seen Girl Talk 3 times.... He doesn't really do anything but hit play on his laptop and dance around with his shirt off.... but.... it's always a party!

We saw him at The Hangout Music Festival .. it was definately a party. Fun to watch since he brought alot of people on stage and every song is basically a hit.

HA! I see I found a man who knows good music.

Really, any good fast paced rock or punk rock should do for me and my crew. :D

www.djbrianbass.com. Check out the mixes with the most current dates. Downloads are free, and most mixes are over an hour long. Mostly new music used in all of them, so it's pretty consistent.

Also, I saw a show on "Current" channel on DTV the other day. They were covering what's called "Dub Warz". This is not to be confused with the Volkswagon Nazi's. The dub wars stuff is kinda like bass songs, but I found 1 on youtube, then bought it from itunes. When I played it in the boat, the bass was freakin unbelievable. I can't explain how loud those 2 WS XXX 12's are with those songs.

for the hiphop heads....
Bobb Deep, Mobb deep lyrics over Bob Marley, pretty good lake Music for me as long as there's some rock to follow it up.....

He is coming to Austin in the next couple of weeks, but I can't see going to watch someone play a cd....

Though harder to find I like the 80's and 90's rock mixes out on the lake more than Girl Talk.
