Found this 2000 Santera at a dealer, said it has 600 hours, but was bought brand new from them and all services have been done there. Looks pretty clean, what are your thoughts, price too high? any thing i should be looking for?

Badblu -

I BELIEVE that this boat does not have the same deep-vee hull that the Launch had. Someone please help out here if you can.

Please tell us (or remind me if you have already posted elsewhere) what are your behind-boat activities? If all you do is board and surf you might a deeper hull but otherwise it looks great!

I think it is a bit high. I just bought a 2000 Legacy for much less and with less hours and great condition. The guy I bought it from said the dealer was only going to give him $10,700 on trade in...what a rip! So the owner sold it to me for a great price and made a lot more than the dealer was willing to give him on trade in. This dealer is probably making a pretty penny. See how low they will go if you really like it. Also check out onlyinboards.com and boattrader.com for great boat and price comparisons. Good luck. Supras are super sweet!

Yeah that is high I just bought a 2001 21 supra launch with 380 hours on it for $14,000 and could not be happier.

Really looking for a good all around boat, skiing and I'm just learning to board. Definitely want something that I can use to board as I get better! Need to see what I can negotiate as far as price, but it's also less than 30 miles from me so that helps, but also don't wanna get burned!

Nice boat. I like the snap in carpet in the front. The price listed is just what they are asking. Make an offer and you will probably be surprised what they will take.

WOW!!! You stole that boat!!! I could not find one for less than 18,500. That is what I got mine for with a boat load of goodies though. What did yours have??

Where did you find the 01 Launch for14,500? We apparently don't have the selection here like most of you guys! It's frustrating!

I bought a 1999 Supra Santera last spring(2009), with a trailer for 18000. It is a great boat, lots of room. Wife and 11 year old wakeboard, so we have not put any ballast in. They like the wake the way it is. At 32-34 mph, I think it skiis OK.

It has the rad cage 4 tower speakers 3 amps 1 sub. - ballast tank in rear under seat and two external 350lbs high fly sacs and dual axel trailer. With 240 hours or so on it. And the blue was repaited on it.

I live in south fla where wakeboard boats are a dime a dozen and I still had to drive 200 miles to get it was the perfecft boat for the price.

Well I've got a deposit to hold it, going to drive it tomorrow! They're asking 17,500 but doesn't have a trailer. Definitely going to be negotiating on that
