Noise Coming From Emission Control Box 2008 24SSV Gravity Games Edition

Sunday we were out on the boat doing some wake boarding when heard somewhat of a noise coming from the engine compartment. Sort of a high pitch EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE noise. Looked in the engine compartment and it sounds like it is coming from the emission control box. Not sure what an alarm is supposed to sound like but shut everything down checked all the fluids and could not find anything wrong. Any bosy have any ideas what it could be?

Evidently it is the engine alarm. I talked with the dealership and am going to have to take it in to have the codes read to determine what it is. They said it could be a number of things. all the fluids are ok.

I hear alot of problems with newer boats as well as older boats. How does the Navy deal with this stuff?
