I have a 2001 Supra Launch SSV. I had a problem with the knock sensor plug leaking this year. Long story....
I looked at the threads and found them all jacked up, so I took it to Auto Zone. They asked a couple questions and then handed me what looked like the one I had. I tried to fit it but jacked those threads (Turns out, its the cast iron threads in the block that are messed up, so I fixex that first). SO... I go to get a new knock sensor, but this time to O'Reilly's. They ask me the same questions, and then produce TWO different ones that look EXACTLY the same - same threads, same everything.
So, how do I know which one to get?
