I take it your in Az lol. What lake you guys hit up most? We go to Saugoro(sp) during the week for the smooth water. Sundays we wakesurf/chill in the back. Been wating to hit up Bartlett and Pleasant but we are on the East Valley and I'm to lazy to drive. Haha.

Nice shots, how do you like that board?

We usually ride Canyon during the week, but will occasionally go to Saguaro. I've been going to Canyon since I was about 10, so I know that lake best. One or 2 weekends a month we'll spend up at Roosevelt. It's been a couple seasons since I was at Bartlett, and it's been 15+ years since I've been to Pleasant. (It seems someone dies on that lake every weekend) I'm on east side too, Chandler.

Sweet boat we just moved to Az 4 months ago. We went to Canyon lake acouple times on the weekend but there was alot of debri. I might try it out during the week, seems it would be sheltered from the wind. I just picked up the board, still feeling it out but so far 2 thumbs up.

Didn't have the camera out much this weekend but here are a couple pics we snapped. A couple wakeboarding and then one on the skate. Finally landed the shuv-it.

Might have some more pics once i get the disposal camera (the one on the tube) to wal-mart. Hopefully those turn out good.

Dusty, how do you stand up on the board with a kid when the boat pulls away? I want to get my niece and nephew started on watersports this summer, and I think that would be a good experience for them.

I just get in normal position and have her rest her feet on the board and lay back into me, essentially like she is coming up on her own. I hold the rope over her so she can wrap her arms around my legs till we get up. Super easy. I've had a 7 yr old that's a foot taller up the same way.

I give my 6 year old daughter a big bear hug and hold her tight to my chest with one arm and use the other hand to hold the rope handle to get up. Once we're up, I lower her down on to the board. She doesn't even get her hair wet.

We originally tried Dusty's recommendation, but she took on way too much water, and it freaked her out. Probably didn't help she was only 4 years old at the time :) probably too short.

The best part :rolleyes: is we get to listen to Hanna Montana when she surfs with me

Kiras 3, 4 in July. It took some convincing to get her to try then she went for 30 straight and did not want to stop. She doesn't take much water at all on the start, but we come up the second the boat starts to pull.

Thanks Fman these boats are awsome so glad i decided on a SUPRA. It's takin a little time to get used to the HUGE wake this is my first real wakeboard boat, Iam used to the little wakes behind the wanna be wakeboats.

First actual competition type of ski I have used (besides a Jobe growing up). Usually used combo slalom ski for years.

Definitely not a beginner ski as it wants to turn if you don't have your weight directly centered over the ski (maybe all comp skies do that, but I know the Jobe you could ride flat).

If you stand up too long going in a straight line, it will wobble left/right slightly as if asking, "which way do you want to turn". I love that! It wants to be on edge! Which for me is the most fun place to be instead of just riding.

With the spray, I easily soak the top of a houseboat on a good turn.

Nice!! I ride a Connelly F1X. Your ski wanting to be on edge is normal. Once you get into the competition/more aggressive ski's they due that. The full edge to edge concave on the bottom is designed to be on edge. If there is a small flat spot on the edges, that will give a little more stability when just going straight. Sounds like that is a nice aggressive ski. I used to spray people sunbathing on their docks all the time...it was hilarious. Didn't want to make too many people upset and give boaters a bad name, so I backed off quite a bit. Still funny though!

I know exactly what you mean. Houseboating, there was a bunch of college girls sun bathing on rocks. I wanted to go thru and spray them, but the driver didn't get me close enough though we discussed what I wanted to do. Oh well, we still laughed at the possibility of their reaction.
