So far so good. Been my favorite Supra yet. We only have about 20 hours on it, since we have not had the best Spring, but that should be changing very quickly. No issues at all. New tower is good and beefy. Not quite as strong as the standard, but as strong or stronger than any other tower on the market. Will keep you posted...

Diggs, she is a beauty.... they should start putting the cut-out front grab rail on all the models, it looks so much cleaner and beefier. Glad to hear the progressive tower is holding up well, and no problems with the VISION. Is the fill/drain on the bags working well with being able to set the % in each bag? That feature I would REALLY like to have....

Todd, funny thing is on our way home from our Shasta trip I made a comment to my wife we are at 187 hours, about time to trade up for a Worlds Supra. Unfortunately she then reminded me about how this was supposed to be our "10 year" boat.... I would love to have that VISION and new progressive tower, but our boat is paid off and I would have to finance some of the new one if I pulled the trigger. However, I still have my mid-life crisis card to pull, maybe that will be the Worlds edition for my 40th :D

Ha ha... Travis..
The % fill on the ballast on the vision is really not any different from the 09' set up. You set it for a number of minutes to fill (you can do this with the 09' too) and it is really a percentage of those minutes. So basically you determine that it takes 5 mins to fill each bag and then it goes off of that 5 mins. After 4 mins the guage reads 80% whether it is truly 80% or not. At least that is how I think it works. I got mine dialed and let it run for 6 mins and it fills full each time.

I know about your mid life crisis and I just went out and bought my midlife crisis...... Had to sell my truck to justify it, but had to do it... It is a 1999...

Now that's a serious tow rig! Duramax powered right? Or was it the older 6.5L diesel? Either way, nice buy. glad you didn't feel like you needed a dodge caravan to tow a boat with like everyone on WW.

Actually it is the 6.5L Turbo Diesel. The Duramax was only in the 06' year or conversions and they are very very expensive. This is the motor that is in most of them and they suck for towing. You honestly can't feel it behind you at all on level ground, but she tops out about 30 on hills and heats up fast. Good thing we have a close drive to the river. Gonna find an SUV for the daily driver and normal tow rig.

Diggs,

I get this feeling you like the color black ;), that is a great looking setup! Our '04 sequoia is still kicking, and does not do too bad of a job towin the 22, but MPG stinks on the freeway at about 10MPG... it was 3.5 hours to Shasta from our house and I was able to maintain 65-70 the entire way without pushing the motor too hard.

Assuming the ballast fill with VISION is similiar to my friends MALIVIEW, although Malibu has the hard tanks which have float gauges in them. Being able to set the % would be great, my '08 has no gauges or timers available, so you have to eyeball the bags or time it yourself which is a bummer... but does get the job done. Maybe a new hull design for 2011 to justify upgrading? would be a very expensive upgrade for VISION and tower right now, thats about all I would get out of a 2010 compared to my '08.
