So I thought my engine was seized. Turns out it was hydrolocked. The problem, im assuming, is a bad head gastket. The boat has been over heating. The ecm shuts down the throttle at 180 degrees. I unhooked the sensor for the ecm and saw 190 deg on the guage because the ecm didnt kill the fuel. I shut it down. 190 on a chevy 350 shouldnt be enough to over heat and cause head gastket issues!?!?! I went to start the motor and it was frozen. I pulled the plugs and found water. Why would 190 blow a head gastket? I had an impeller get all chewed up a year and a half ago. Could peices be stuck in a water jacket causing one cylendar to heat way up? Im lost!!!

190 shouldn't blow a head gasket. Its possible the impeller parts are stuck in the T Stat.
How do you winterize your engine? If you just drain the water its possible you trapped water inside and cracked the head or block.
