replaced the driveshaft on my 89 supra. one last thing i need to do is adjust the gland nut i think its called. its the nut where the drive shaft comes thru the floor. i put the 3 peices of wax rope in it and tightened it down with my hands now need help getting it to the final stage.

are you supposed to only hand tighten it? and how many drops of water per minute is supposed to come out? is this water supposed to come out when the boat is in nuetral or moving?

any help with fine tuning this would help me alot. thanks for any help

one drop every 15 to 30 seconds or longer......mine never leaked and was fine for 9 years, neutral is fine

hand tighten or use 2 wrenches?
