What lid are you referring to? The one behind the passangers seat that I can see into in your pics? hehe

Ya, Mid state the road got rough and of course I forgot to bring or install the hinge b4 I left. It was a tight fit, pretty sure it bounced out at about 30-35 mph
It was one of the more "pro" looking pieces I did, shooting for that again......with the hinge right away....

Whoa nelly! In the words of Cartman, "Son of a B!tch!" And you didn't see that one come off?! Are you talking about the ski locker upholstered cover or that little teak wood cover that sits on the motor cowling?

On a side note, I too hate I75. The road sucks most of the way up to my wife's home town of Indian River.

It was too tight a fit for it to blow out, it would've bounced out in the construction zone, so most likely somebody got to run over it in the july 5 traffic on 75. The roads were jammed so I'm not worried about our speed, just feeling a little irresponsible, that and it looked good!
The whole cover 64"X 15.5", 2.5" thick....Most of the trucks around Bay City have a lift so hopefully some one had some fun!!!!

I made some ghetto rear bench to get me through july 4th weekend and didn't hinge it, I didn't get 5 miles down the road and it was falling into the boat so I just removed it! Definitly hinge these things!!
