I wanted to throw out a question out there to see if anyone knows whether supra will be bringing a bigger boat liket the Mastercraft x80? I currently have a 2008 24v and seems that its getting cramped when you take another family out with your own.
Thanks

That is a interesting question. What size would you want?

I dont think the x80 can seat any more comfortably than the 24v, in fact the x80 interior seems smaller. I think the x55 seats more than the x80 and its only 25'.

I cant imagine SC looking to invest in building a $100K+ boat right now. Hopefully I'm wrong and the boating industry is doing great.

For me personally my next boat will be 22', the 24v is a beast.

I agree. My saltare was difficult to dock load and trailer at times. This 22v that I now have seems so nimble.

No kidding, you'd need a blower in the front with a closed bow...wouldn't want all that methane to get trapped!

After driving an X-45 and X-80 I don't want a boat bigger than my 24V, It's the perfect size, I don't want a size smaller.

MasterCraft has chosen to enter the super-luxury market and I personally dont think they will have any competition from an inboard company any time soon. Check out the new X-50 but I also heard they were coming out with a yacht-class boat. I thought I had pics, but no luck right now...

How about a re-design of the 24? A little smaller ski lockers? this would open up some significant more sitting room for people. I almost bought a 24, but there was not enough space difference from the 22 to justify the size hassle/cost difference. A pickle fork front end would also open up the bow area, even though I dont care how they look.

I was suprised how large of rear ski lockers the 24 has, that most people dont fully use and could be reduced/shortened for more sitting area. Or maybe they do get stuffed with gear and it would affect the storage needed on the 24? With the Z-5 I barely have anything at all in my ski lockers on my 22.

I think the x80 is a "yacht" class boat.

I should hope so, those things are retarded huge...just plain silly looking as a wakeboard boat.

LOL You would think the X80 would be big enough, but nope. This is the MC 300, 33"9" with platform. it has not yet come out. Drool and scoff, alternativly, at your leisure. There is obviously a market for these luxury inboards. Little Richie Rich likes to wakeboard now haha!

I would like to have a boat that I could go on the great lakes with if I chose. I live in Chicago and every time I'm on the bike path by the lake front I see X55s and X80s pulling wakeboarders or sitting out in a bay. I don't think that a 26 foot boat is out of line unless it is a 500 acre lake and smaller.

I think the bow in the 24 is plenty big without going with the picklefork. I'm 6 foot and can stretch my feet out all the way with no problems.

I havent seen the cockpit area compared to a 22 and not sure how they compare. I agree the ski lockers might be able to be a little smaller but not much. I side is always full with jackets (14 or so) and kids floaties and the other side is where we store boards overnight or extra weight when surfing.

I love the size for the lakes im on.
