My transmission PCM40A, ratio 1.23/1, comes out of a 92 Supra Sunsport with a 5.8 liter engine, was leaking transmission oil from the front seal. So I finally decided to replaced the seal and the real seal on it, which I knew was going to be a nice job. I removed the transmission and replaced the seals. I put it back in the boat and now the transmission will not go in forward or reverse. There was no slippage prior to removing the trans. I loosen the pipeing going to the heat exchanger and there is no oil pumping from either pipe. The manual said to run in neutral at 1200 rpm and that would purge the air out, but no luck there. Can anyone help me?:(
