Anybody done a cable swap/
any suggestions......how much and where?

Teleflex or Morse?:shock:I changed out my entire helm back when I refinished our boat, its pretty straight forward on the cable replacement part, I cant remember the price for just a cable though, But its no sweat to do.

P.S. I used Teleflex.

ditto on the teleflex, DIM for an 18' I think was about $130. Check for play in your clamp bock (if your boat has one).
Cable swap was a nobrainer on my DD took about 45min with some bilge cleaning.......

Why are you changing it out? I'm haveing some stiff steering issues when pulling a tube, mine may be about to go . . .
