So, I had a deal lined-up to go pick-up a Saltare this weekend, but it fell through.

Long story short, I have cash in hand, but no boat to buy.

I'm looking for a 84-95ish Saltare, Sunsport, or Rider.

My limit is $4,000, so I'm looking for one that needs work.

Blown motor, crap interior, ect.
I'm a mechanic so, I'm not scared to dig into one of these boats.

I really want to get one of these old boats that needs some love, and get her all fixed up nice.

Call me at 4O6-36O-9772 or PM me.
Thanks guys!

foxriverat:
Yeah, I saw that one, It's under consideration, but I would really prefer an open-bow. We'll see...
Nice search site by the way, I haven't tried that one before!
Thanks for the help!

Ptownkid:
I don't mind taking a road-trip for a boat. I'm in Montana, but anything within a 1000 mile radius would be fine.

The guy who was selling the Saltare lent it to his brother for the weekend. When he went to get it he said there was something up with the transmission. I offered to buy it anyway for a few bucks off our agreed price, but he said he didn't feel comfortable selling something that wasn't in good working order. So... I have this $ from the bank, but no boat. :(
I'm pretty bummed too cause my mom was gonna watch the kids for us this weekend so I could go pick it up.

I don't buy his story...but I'm a skeptical person sometimes...his brother probably wanted it.

Just keep searching my man, they turn up more often than not if you're willing to drive!

Yeah, you never know. Either way, it doesn't matter much I guess. If he isn't gonna sell it, he isn't gonna sell it.

It would be sweet if someone on here had one with a bad motor or something who didn't have the time/money to get it going.

That one in San-Diego could be good. It looks like a Pirata. I called the guy last night, but haven't heard back from him yet.

If anyone knows of something that would be awesome!

Thanks
