TS6M Auto Bilge Pump Float Switch Location?

Hey gang,

Where does the float valve reside in the early TS6M's for the auto bilge function? I can't find mine. I have the switch on my panel, but I do not see the float valve in the bilge anywhere. I am not even sure of what I am looking for, but I expected it to reside near the actual bilge pump in the fwd bilge area, but didn't see it.

Depending on your pump, it could be internal. If not, then you probable don't have one.

my Ts6m has a rule Mate 750, pictured below. If this is what you have, it has an internal float. Mine just stopped working as well, i just posted about it. (http://supraboats.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=7164) :cool:

My auto float in my 91 comp is next to the bildge pump itself on the boat floor. Its a rectanular swith that is wired to the pump and turns on when water level get high enough. Just had bildge replaced, they suggested to keep lower boat area clean to prolong bildge life but go bad often.
