2011 Supra Launch 242

So long 24v! Here's the new 2011 Supra Launch 242, here are some great shots of it and it looks even better in person, I don't think there's a hotter color combo out there. Whole new hull, fully powder coated Progressive tower, and new interior layout/bow layout. Hot looking boat:

More pics!!!! Wonder why they changed the seating layout? It was unique to Supra and I have gotten TONS of comments on it. I do like how it is a big seat facing backwards that gives it the lounge feel.

Looks like the aux power plug is further away from the ski locker. :( There wouldnt happen to be on in the locker would there?

That windshield is slick. Can't tell if its one piece or not. That will be a PITA to tint but it will look sick!

Jeezum, that lounge area is huge. The boat looks very slick. I like it alot, but my bank account hates new boats. ;)

Nope, atleast not this year.

KG, that is probably an overlay just so the carpet doesn't get stains and stuff with all the people crawling in and out of it. It's been on the lake here for about two weeks being used, so it was probably there to keep the boat clean up to the dealer meeting.

There is no way id want to step down, think you might regret that.

I noticed the carpet in between the speakers, above the cupholder. Mine doesn't have that and I agree with you, why put it there now.

Agreed, I don't want to step down, it's just the right amount of boat for me and my crew. The 22v just has a slightly shorter bow anyway, atleast compared to the '05-'10 24v.

As my son would say, that 242 is sick.... Although, still no true "snap out carpet", the tower looks great, but as I already mentioned it looks a lot like a Malibu. I would like to see one in white, or a different color scheme. Will be cool to see the hull changes and beam width, etc... that they have changed. I would bet you can still order with the love seat as an option. That air seat is really cool too. Assuming the ballast system is still bags, with playpen front?

I was hoping they were going to change the 22, would love to see it with the front cut out grab rails like the 21 has.... the Moomba line looks great this year, they are really stepping that boat up.

It may just be me, but does the paint job make it seem kind of odd, especially with the thick black stripe right in the middle above the rubrail? It seems like it would look alot better if the line were a little more straight. I photoshoped it to see what it looks like, what do you guys think? Anybody have a shot of the lower rear of the boat? I am wondering how different it is under there from the 24ssv and 24v. I like how they smoothed out the top deck and sides.
