Thanks Ed G for posting. The 242 supra looks awlfully close to a Malibu. The way the gel coat is layed out and the sharper nose screams malibu. Hmmm. I love the worlds boat. Some sweet looking boats. I like the new Mooba graphics also. Except the XLV it is too plain and doesnt look good at all.

242 looks AMAZING! The world graphics are horrible, though. I wonder what kind of surf-wake the new hull puts out?

I HAVE to ask - what's with the Moomba tower? Isn't it just the Malibu Illusion tower with hydrolic assist???? What's with that

Mikey, from what I posted on WW:

The new V2 tower isn't a mirror image of the Illusion X tower, it's an improvement on it. The breakaway system is easier to use, the pins that allow the tower to collapse are easier to insert and remove, the header had an additional piece of oval pipe added down the center for reinforcement and the bases have been totally revamped. Also, the powder that's being used in the powder coating process is a higher quality than the old gloss powder that you saw on Illusion X towers.

That's the tower I want on my boat.... iwakeboard, when you get a chance could you measure the width at the base of that thing? Do the aluminum rails mount below the deck??

Wotan,

The one pictured there is the LSV, and those aluminum rails are just there so we can sit it standing up on the ground, it's not part of the tower. The width of that tower, center to center, is 85"
